(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Nov. 27.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 12:43 p.m.
The epicenter was 35 kilometers northeast of Cortes.
The depth of focus was 11 kilometers.

No damage to property was reported but aftershocks were.
