Rivalry announces first-ever profitable month alongside Q3 2022 financial figures

Esports betting platform Rivalry has announced that October 2022 was the company’s first-ever profitable month.

Rivalry also revealed its financial results for the third quarter of 2022, which featured increases in revenue and betting handle. Despite revealing that the company was profitable in October — a major milestone for Rivalry — it has not disclosed the financial figure.

Luckbox set to acquire unnamed iGaming platform, files latest financial reports

Esports betting company Luckbox has announced a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire an unnamed ‘leading Asia-Pacific’ iGaming platform.

In addition to announcing the LOI with the platform, Luckbox also filed its Q3 2022 financial results. According to a release, the acquisition involves Luckbox purchasing 100% of the platform and its technology, which it says has access to over 6,000 games from 50 game providers. The move is said to help enable Luckbox achieve growth through ‘combined operational synergies’.

SIS Competitive Gaming awarded ESIC Gold Standard certification

Esports live betting services supplier SIS Competitive Gaming has been awarded Esports Integrity Commission’s (ESIC) Gold Standard certification.

The Gold Standard is the highest possible accreditation from ESIC, and makes SIS the first esports betting events supplier to fulfil the criteria needed. ESIC is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide a set of certifications and rules to strengthen integrity within the esports industry.

Team Secret unveils Parimatch partnership

European esports organisation Team Secret has announced a global partnership with online bookmaker Parimatch, becoming the organisation’s official betting partner.

As a result of the deal, Parimatch will be featured in-game and on Team Secret’s jerseys and hoodies. The companies will also launch exclusive content as well as meet-and-greet events. According to the announcement, the deal will primarily focus on Team Secret’s Dota 2 division and follows on from the bookmaker’s partnership with 00Nation last month.

Bayes Esports expands operations to Canada

Esports data company Bayes Esports has expanded into Canada through an extension of its partnership with betting company bet365.

Bet365 and Bayes Esports will continue working together in Ontario, Canada, after the two companies recently announced the start of operations in US states New Jersey and Colorado.

Prosper Ultimate creates hub for Champion of Champions Tour

Esports betting and pick’em platform Prosper Ultimate has been named the official fan engagement partner for CS:GO tournament series Champion of Champions Tour (CCT).

Prosper Ultimate will use GRID Esports’ data to create a dedicated Champion of Champions Tour Hub which will include data from all matches and allow users to bet on games.

BETER bolsters esports iFrame solution with new statistics widget

Betting content and data company BETER has bolstered its iFrame solution with the introduction of a new statistics widget.

The new feature will provide more information on CS:GO and Dota 2 games as well as player performances. This includes hero picks, statistics on current and past matches, lineups and pick/bans.
