Boracay Earns Spot on TripAdvisor’s 2026 “Best of the Best Beaches” List
Boracay’s iconic White Beach has secured a place on Tripadvisor’s 2026 Best of the Best Beaches list, reinforcing the Philippines’ reputation as a premier tropical destination in Southeast Asia.
The recognition is seen by tourism leaders as a strong affirmation of the country’s continued rise as a world-class beach and leisure hub.
According to Tripadvisor, the annual ranking represents the “highest level of excellence” in global travel and is awarded only to destinations that consistently receive a high volume of “above-and-beyond reviews and opinions” from travelers over a 12-month period.
“Out of our eight million listings, fewer than one percent achieve this milestone,” the global travel platform noted.
Boracay Joins Asia’s Top Beach Destinations
In the 2026 list, top-ranked beaches include Banana Beach in Phuket, Thailand; Kelingking Beach in Indonesia; Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island, India; and Palolem Beach in Canacona, India—placing Boracay among Asia’s most celebrated coastal destinations.
Tripadvisor described Boracay’s White Beach as a shoreline that “draws a crowd for good reasons: soft white sand, turquoise waters, and amazing sunsets.”
“It’s a great place to swim and snorkel, and when you’ve worked up an appetite, lots of local dining and drinking joints are just steps away,” its citation read.
