Through livelihood assistance, education, and workforce development, the ICCP Group helps communities build skills, expand opportunities, and achieve greater self-reliance.
As the ICCP Group expands its business operations across the Philippines, it continues to support the people and communities connected to its locations. Through collaborations with government agencies, schools, foundations, non-government organizations, and private-sector partners, the Group implements programs that promote livelihood opportunities, develop skills, and help individuals and families work toward more secure futures.
Its community initiatives go beyond short-term outreach. By investing in programs focused on economic resilience, education, workforce readiness, and essential community needs, the Group aims to create benefits that last. These efforts reflect its commitment to the idea that business growth and community development can advance together.
Expanding Livelihood Opportunities and Economic Resilience
Since 2018, the ICCP Group Foundation, Inc. (IGFI) has been implementing a livelihood program designed to help community members develop income-generating activities. Through partnerships with various organizations, the initiative has benefited nearly 1,000 individuals, predominantly women, in communities where ICCP Group companies operate.

Among the program’s partners are Ang Hortaleza Foundation, Odyssey Foundation, Small Enterprise Education & Development, Inc., and Ernesto Yu Foundation. In Cagayan de Oro, IGFI expanded its collaboration in September 2025 through a partnership with Metrobank Foundation, reaching 240 solo parents and persons with disabilities.
The program supports participants in establishing small businesses, including sari-sari stores, rice retailing operations, and poultry-related ventures. Beyond providing livelihood opportunities, it equips participants with practical knowledge in business planning, financial management, marketing, and customer relations.
Initial monitoring results show that many participants are earning an additional ₱600 to ₱800 per day from their enterprises. The program also incorporates mental health and psychosocial support activities to help participants strengthen their confidence, navigate personal and business challenges, and remain resilient as they build their livelihoods.
Developing Skills for a Changing Workforce
Recognizing the importance of preparing workers for emerging technologies, the ICCP Group also supports initiatives that strengthen technical capabilities and workforce readiness.
Through the Quality Education and Skills Transformation for Workforce Development (QuEST WorkDev) program, employees of locator companies operating within Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. (SPPI) industrial parks have received specialized training in additive manufacturing technologies.
The first batch of participants under the QuEST WorkDev program at Light Industry and Science Park I in Cabuyao, Laguna, who took their first step into the world of Additive Manufacturing.
Launched in October 2025 through a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Science and Technology and Unilab Foundation, QuEST WorkDev builds on the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development Alliance (AMDev). The latter is a five-year workforce development initiative implemented by Unilab Foundation with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Through capacity-building sessions, the program provides manufacturing employees with technical competencies that can contribute to innovation, improved productivity, and greater industry competitiveness. Approximately 200 locator employees have benefited from the training to date.
Helping Students Access Educational Opportunities
Education remains another key component of the ICCP Group’s community engagement efforts. In Cebu, around 1,300 locator-company employees at Cebu Light Industrial Park (CLIP) took part in a Fun Run for a Cause to raise funds for IGFI’s Tulong Pambaon Project.
The initiative began in 2011 with only four student beneficiaries. Since then, it has grown into an ongoing education support program that has helped nearly 200 students and graduates.
Beyond helping students from underserved families pursue their education, Tulong Pambaon brings together employees and partner companies around a shared purpose: expanding access to educational opportunities and contributing to the long-term development of the communities where the Group operates.
Responding to Essential Community Needs
Alongside its sustained livelihood, education, and workforce programs, the ICCP Group collaborates with government agencies and local partners to address immediate community concerns.
At Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park, approximately 2,500 employees and residents benefited from the Bente Bigas program, implemented in coordination with the National Food Authority (NFA) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
The initiative provided participating families with access to subsidized rice, helping ease household food expenses and allowing them to allocate savings toward other essential needs.
From livelihood development and technical training to educational assistance and food affordability, the ICCP Group’s community programs address a range of needs across its operating areas. Although each initiative serves a distinct purpose, they share a broader objective: enabling people to develop their capabilities, access opportunities, and work toward more stable and resilient futures.
Through partnerships and sustained community engagement, the Group continues to demonstrate how investments in people can contribute to stronger communities and more inclusive development.
